Context

Traveling and moving to new cities for internships has given me the opportunity to explore new places.

In the past few years, I’ve moved from my home in Texas to Illinois for college, worked internships in the Bay Area and NYC, and traveled with friends and family. I’ve gotten to explore a lot of new places and interests — primarily eating and hiking!

Saving places in Google Maps is powerful. These are spots I’ve personally vetted and want to check out!

I save restaurants, hiking trails, viewpoints, shops, etc. that I discover through friends, TikToks, and other social media. Sometimes, I add notes on what to order at a restaurant or even a link to a TikTok video so I remember why I saved it in the first place.
